Xanadu (Mac-Haydn Theatre)

Based on the Universal Pictures cult classic movie of the same title, this Tony Award-nominated fun-filled, roller skating, musical adventure about following your dreams rolls along to the original hit score composed by pop-rock legends, Jeff Lynne and John Farrar.

A Greek muse inspires love, laughter and the world’s first roller disco in this 1980s inspired glitter explosion. Xanadu delivers upon the legacy of the American musical comedy in perfect pitch, as audiences follow Kira, a young muse from Mt. Olympus, whose quest to inspire a struggling artist to achieve his dream is complicated by the prospect of forbidden love with a mortal.

Lace up your skates for this electrifying tale full of chart-topping hits! Returning for the first time since our critically-acclaimed production in 2015, you are going to want to book your seats early as Xanadu is jammed full of silly bliss and is probably the most fun you’ll have at the Mac-Haydn this season.

Forever Plaid (Mac-Haydn Theatre)

One of the most popular and successful musicals in recent memory, Forever Plaid is a deliciously fun revue, chock-full of classic barbershop quartet harmonies and pitch-perfect melodies!

Take a trip back to the 1950s as we follow four young singers as they take the stage for their final gig. When high school pals Sparky, Jinx, Smudge, and Francis – the “Plaids” – are killed in a car accident on the way to their first big gig, the young men linger in limbo as “astro-technical” phenomena allows them to return to Earth, perform their final concert, and hopefully win a place in Heaven – and the deluxe plaid dinner jackets of their dreams.

The “Plaids” are a guaranteed smash, and we are so excited to bring them back to the Mac-Haydn stage. With a program of beloved songs and delightful patter you will be rolling in the aisles when you’re not humming along to some of the great pop hits of the 1950s.

Tickets and more info here.
