New short-term rental law

The Town Board has adopted a local law regulating short-term rentals (including "AirBNBs" or "VRBO's") within the Town.

A grace period of 120 days from the November 2nd deadline will allow those operating short-term rentals to apply for a permit with our Building Department. The local law, permit and template "good neighbor" statement can befound on the Town of Chatham website.
