Town Board continues work on Solar Law and 
zoning / planning process

Board members made short work of the agenda at Thursday’s workshop meeting of the Town Board, completing their work in an hour’s time.

  • In one of only two resolutions, the board unanimously approved a contract renewal with Michael Allen / Regrowth Planning for continued work on zoning changes that will be incorporated into Town law. Allen, who is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, began working with the Town of Chatham Board to assist in the revision of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. Since that time, he has continued advising and collaborating with Board committees and the full board to make recommended changes to Town Code and Town law.
