BOARD APPROVES TWO NEW LOCAL LAWS FOR TOWN

The board heard extensive public comment at this meeting and shared differences of opinion prior to the passage of two new local laws on September 5. All board members were in attendance with John Wapner attending online.

Dems primed to “DO SOMETHING” by Chloe Pierce, Michelle Hinchey and Josh Riley speaking to what their campaigns are about. Antonio Delgado passionately capped off the evening by speaking to taking action not for personal gain but for the betterment of the whole - believing in equality!

CANVASSING CONTINUES FOR OUR CANDIDATES

Here are groups of canvassers leaving Democracy Headquarters recently.

They went out to homes of voters in Chatham, Kinderhook and Ghent, asking voters to support CD 19 candidate Josh Riley, NYS Senate incumbent Michelle Hinchey, and NYS Assembly District 106 Incumbent Didi Barrett, and NYS Assembly District 107 candidate Chloe Pierce.

We need help at the Chatham Office on weekends during canvassing. Duties include greeting canvassers, helping them download and use minivan, and collecting materials when canvassers return. Contact Judi Matthews for more information and specific dates. Email her here
